Job summary

The GEO Group provides correctional and community reentry services and seeks a Substance Abuse Manager to oversee counseling staff and treatment programs at the facility. Candidate must hold a LIAC or LPC license with at least two years of supervisory counseling experience, and be able to train staff and manage program records and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold LIAC or LPC license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant counseling experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and function of providing substance abuse counseling to inmates.
• Conduct individual or group counseling sessions and related programs.
• Develop client treatment plans and conduct orientation sessions.
• Coordinate with health professionals and court/community agencies.
• Train and guide Substance Abuse staff.
• Maintain records and progress reports.
