Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Substance Abuse Manager to oversee counseling services for inmates and lead a team of counselors. You will supervise, train, and evaluate staff, and ensure compliance with treatment plans and program goals.

You will develop client treatment plans, conduct individual and group sessions, and coordinate with health professionals to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation. A LIAC or LPC license and supervisory experience are required, along with proficient computer

Qualifications

• Must hold LIAC or LPC license with two years of experience.
• Ability to provide a minimum of 15 hours of clinical supervision.
• Proficient with computers and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and function of counseling services for inmates.
• Complete and maintain records of patient histories and progress.
• Counsel patients individually or in groups to aid treatment.
• Develop client treatment plans based on evidence and history.
• Coordinate with mental health professionals and case conferences.
• Plan follow-up and aftercare for discharged clients.
