Job summary

DeCoach Recovery is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Fairfield, OH team. This full-time role schedules Monday–Friday, day shift, and reports to the clinical staff.

The counselor will lead individual and group counseling, support clients, and collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers. Qualifications include a current Ohio LCDC II or LCDC III license, ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines, and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LCDC II or LCDC III license.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines.
• Ability to work well on a team and on your own.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group counseling sessions
• Support clients in crisis and connect them to resources
• Work with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers
• Keep accurate and timely clinical notes and records
• Take part in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision
