Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers in Minnesota seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor to engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling as part of a collaborative treatment team. You’ll work with a Medical Director, Program Director, and nurses to identify and meet clinical needs for overall well-being.

For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers have provided outpatient care for Opioid Use Disorder, offering strong support and community impact. Ready to contribute locally?

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota LADC or LPC license.
• Substance abuse field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
• Ensure at least 20 hours of direct patient contact per week.
• Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and steps to recovery.
• Review urine drug screens and verify patient identity.
• Protect proprietary data and company rights.
