Qualifications

• Must hold an LADC credential or equivalent licensure.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained before direct patient contact.
• Competence in screening for mental health problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance use disorder counseling services per 12 Core Functions.
• Maintain records per policy and licensing regulations.
• Develop professional relationships with referrals and community agencies.
• Diagnose substance use disorders and refer as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and supervision.
• Maintain professional demeanor and pursue skill development.
