• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s in social sciences with two years counseling exp.
• Alternative: Associate’s with four years counseling exp.
• Or HS diploma with six years counseling exp.
• Must be eligible for CADC/LCAS certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide Substance Abuse information for curriculum.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions.
• Select and recommend instructional materials for the program.
• Maintain knowledge of new developments in the field.
• Collaborate with other professionals and associations.
• Conduct testing, assessment, and psychosocial histories.
