Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is seeking a Substance Abuse Clinical Supervisor to join our team.

• Supervise daily review operations related to substance use review or prior authorization requests to meet contract goals within budget.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of review cases per contract requirements.
• Assess and manage daily workload and queues; adjust schedules accordingly.
• Analyze reviewer productivity.
• Identify training needs and collaborate on development and implementation of training plans.
• Oversee quality monitoring activities, including audits and process improvements.
• Maintain current knowledge of review processes and clinical practices; serve as resource for reviewers.
• Act as liaison for provider customer service issues and problem resolution.
• Perform all applicable review types as workload demands.
• Adhere to all policies, including HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

Required

• Active MN Mental Health Professional Licensure (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC).
• Extensive experience with ASAM Criteria in clinical or utilization management settings.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience in healthcare, with 1-3 years review experience.
• Recent clinical experience of at least two years.

Preferred

• Experience in workload management is highly preferred.
