A leading company in healthcare is seeking a Care Manager for its Early Childhood Supports and Services program in Louisiana. The role involves collaborating with clinical teams to ensure quality mental health services for children aged 0-5. Candidates must be licensed professionals with experience in behavioral health. A coordinated state-wide program providing screening, evaluation, referral services, and treatment for children ages 0 through 5 years and their families. This is a new contract in the first year of implementation, supporting services for infants 0-5 years with a focus on mental health in Louisiana. The Care Manager will review and evaluate assessments and Plans of Care to ensure high standards of care and quality are met. Candidates should be licensed LPC or LMFT in Louisiana with prior experience in early childhood mental health or other child-serving systems.
Licensure is required, such as CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN, with necessary degrees. Minimum of 2 years post-degree experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of utilization management, community resources, DSM V, and the ability to analyze utilization problems are required.
