Job summary

UF Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider licensed in Florida and/or Georgia to deliver direct patient care in subspecialty outpatient and/or inpatient settings. The role involves assisting with high-complexity cases, coordinating referrals, and participating in education for residents and students.

Responsibilities include performing procedures within scope, developing care plans with a multidisciplinary team, documenting in EMR, and potentially travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level nursing or PA program required.
• Active BLS certification required at hire.
• NMD/PA licensure in FL and GA at hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in outpatient and/or inpatient subspecialty care desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides referrals and coordinates care; schedules procedures and discharge planning.
• Performs or assists with advanced procedures within scope of practice.
• Develops comprehensive care plans with multispecialty team.
• Documents clinical information in medical records and EMR per guidelines.
• May cover call duties as department needs dictate.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
