Job summary

UF Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider III to deliver direct patient care under physician supervision in Florida and/or Georgia. The APP will work in subspecialty outpatient and/or inpatient settings, may perform procedures, and contribute to NICU care as needed.

Responsibilities include referrals, complex procedure support, comprehensive health plans, meticulous EMR documentation, and potential call coverage. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of outpatient/inpatient experience required.
• Travel: Up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provides referrals and coordinates care for patients.
• Performs or assists with high-complexity procedures in clinic or inpatient units.
• Develops comprehensive health management plans in collaboration with physicians and other professionals.
• Documents patient encounters and EMR notes in a timely, compliant manner.
• May be required to provide call coverage.
• Obtains histories and conducts exams, orders and interprets tests, and prescribes treatments.
• Educates patients and families as appropriate.
• All other duties as assigned.
