SGS is seeking an experienced Pipeline / Welding Inspector for a contract in Ingleside, Texas, supporting subsea pipeline fabrication and offshore installation activities. The ideal candidate holds AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1/3.2 certification and has offshore/subsea pipe fabrication experience.

The assignment covers shipyard/fabrication through loadout, transportation, pipelay vessel activities and offshore installation, with responsibilities spanning ITPs, MTRs, WPS/PQR reviews, welding inspections,

Qualifications

Experience inspecting pipeline welding and fabrication.
Ability to review WPS/PQR and welder qualifications.
Familiarity with coating, hydrotesting and final documentation.

Responsabilités

Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), specifications and procedures.
Perform material receiving inspections and verify MTRs and traceability.
Witness and review WPS/PQR activities and welder qualification testing.
Perform fit-up and welding inspections; review NDT documentation.
Inspect coating, painting, riser and spool fabrication; verify anode installation.
Witness hydrotesting and preservation activities; review turnover documentation.
