Zusammenfassung

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Subsea Cable Technical Lead to act as the site technical lead for submarine network operations, remaining hands-on in maintenance, commissioning and restoration. You will oversee SLTE, DWDM, PFE, DCN and related optics, while guiding technicians and ensuring safe, high-quality execution.

Your role involves troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and coordination with customer NOC and OEMs, plus adherence to approved procedures and documentation standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 6 years experience in optical transport or submarine cable systems.
• Experience with SLTE and/or DWDM systems and OTDR testing.
• Experience coordinating with NOCs, OEMs and vendors.
• Strong fault isolation and live-network change experience.
• Knowledge of submarine cable station architecture (PFE, OGB, BMH, fronthaul, DCN).

Aufgaben

• Lead advanced diagnosis, restoration and maintenance for submarine transmission and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate technical escalation with the customer NOC, regional operations and OEMs.
• Review and execute approved MOPs, maintenance plans and changes.
• Identify operational risk, prerequisites, and ensure proper documentation and changes.
• Perform and oversee complex optical testing, fault location, circuit turn‑up and installation/commissioning activities.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance and coaching to hybrid technicians.
