Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Subsea Cable Technical Lead in the United States to act as the site technical lead for submarine network operations, while remaining hands-on with maintenance, commissioning and restoration.

The role applies advanced skills in SLTE, DWDM, PFE and related optical systems, leads complex troubleshooting, coordinates with customer NOC and OEMs, and mentors hybrid technicians to ensure safe, compliant work and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in optical transport or submarine cable ops.
• Experience with SLTE and/or DWDM systems.
• Experience coaching and coordinating with NOCs and OEMs.
• Strong fault isolation, live-network changes, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis, restoration and maintenance for submarine networks.
• Coordinate escalation with customer NOC, regional ops, and OEMs.
• Review MOPs, maintenance plans and changes.
• Perform optical testing, fault location and turn-up.
• Provide technical guidance to hybrid technicians.
