Are you an experienced subscription marketer motivated by creating and executing campaign strategies that deliver sustainable subscriber and revenue growth? Do you have a passion for data and the ability to optimize efforts to uncover and engage new clients or cultivate upsell opportunities? Do you enjoy working across the larger product and marketing organization to translate new product features into customer benefits that drive insight and action? If so, join the marketing team at Spiceworks to handle the marketing of our newly revamped Cloud Help Desk (CHD) software solution.

What you’ll do

Spiceworks CHD has been helping IT organizations manage and monitor daily projects and user tickets for over 18 years. In 2025, we plan to release new product tiers with innovative features and services. Your role will be crucial in translating the CHD product roadmap into effective messaging to promote across various channels, driving subscriber growth. As the Subscription Marketing Manager, you will develop, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns to meet growth objectives, partnering closely with the CHD leadership team to achieve pipeline and revenue targets. You will oversee global demand generation campaigns across North America and international regions, building industry and account-centric (ABM) programs targeting multiple personas within tech organizations. Your responsibilities include managing the execution of marketing strategies through messaging, content, product demos, and offers to acquire new customers and upsell existing ones.

What will be your responsibilities
  1. Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns focusing on cross-sell and upsell strategies.
  2. Manage paid, owned, and earned media, including planning, implementation, and optimization across channels like Email, Social Media, SEO, Display, SEM, Review Sites, and Product Directories.
  3. Grow subscription numbers for both free and paid products.
  4. Utilize marketing intelligence, customer insights, and analysis to understand audiences and campaign effectiveness.
  5. Report on engagement KPIs, forecast, track, analyze, and report on activities.
  6. Oversee campaign processes, including lead reporting, and collaborate with team members to maximize results and test new channels for scalability.
  7. Drive brand engagement, customer satisfaction, and lifetime value.
  8. Create dashboards to monitor customer marketing KPIs effectively.
What does it take to do this job
  • Strong understanding of subscription marketing, including retention, acquisition, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing tactics and channels such as SEM, SEO, Display, Content Syndication, Events, Review Sites, Email, etc.
  • Minimum 4-5 years experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms.
  • Creative thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in a subscription or campaign-based marketing role.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams to gather information and gain consensus.
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics & WebTrends.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Salary Disclosure: The base pay ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 plus incentives, with benefits including 401K with match, health insurance, disability coverage, and flexible time off.
