Unified Group Services seeks a Subrogation Specialist to manage third-party liability determinations and subrogation questions for health plans. You will coordinate with attorneys and internal teams to explain agreements and options while ensuring timely communications with plan participants.

The role is a full-time in-office position located in Indiana, with standard 40-hour weeks and hourly pay. Applicants should have strong math, Excel, and customer-service skills and be prepared to liaise

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college is helpful but not required.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good math skills and ability to interpret forms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional phone communication and courteous demeanor.
• Organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and interpret plan language and benefits.
• Strong writing skills with proper grammar and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with claims account manager to determine third-party liability and covered benefits.
• Answer participant questions throughout the process.
• Receive information from plan participant attorneys handling claims.
• Coordinate with Subrogation Attorney and internal Account Executives.
• Inform customers about Subrogation Agreement details and options.
• Coordinate with Reinsurance team on stop-loss information.
• Work with Appeals team on accident/injury-related claims and subrogation file appeals.
