Job summary

Acara Solutions in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for a temporary 2-month assignment. You will prepare documentation, review claim history, and support overpayment investigations while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely processing.

This role requires strong attention to detail, reliable teamwork, and clear communication in a dynamic environment. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in maintaining data entry requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation, review claim history, and other documentation related to overpayment.
• Utilize available resources to investigate claim situations for overpayment.
• Follow-up with responsible departments and delegated entities to ensure compliance.
• Monitors daily and weekly inventory to ensure internal and regulatory timeframes are met.
• Identify areas of potential improvement and provide feedback and recommendations to management on issue resolution, quality improvement, network contracting, policies and procedures, administrative costs, cost-saving opportunities, best practices, and performance issues.
• Maintain data entry requirements for all complaints and appeals.
• Perform any other additional tasks or duties as assigned or necessary.
