Job summary

PURVIS Systems is seeking a Systems Trainer to train, brief, and certify submarine onboard systems and at submarine ports. The role requires strong teamwork, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced Navy environment.

Candidate must have IT experience in submarine operations, be able to interface with military personnel, and hold TOP SECRET/SCI level clearance. Travel will be up to 30% and duties include OS training, testing, and system integration.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional IT experience in submarine operations.
• Ability to interface with senior military and civilian personnel to conduct onboard certification process.
• At sea operations on a deployed submarine.
• Knowledge of CSRR equipment configurations.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to think outside of the box.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Operating System training, configuration, and certification for Windows and RHEL onboard submarines.
• Conduct system briefs to Commanding Officers and crew.
• Develop, maintain, test and repair Special Projects System Software and Hardware per government requirements.
• Assist in developing TEMPALTS for Special Projects requirements.
• Assist in system preparation prior to shipment and installation.
• Create and implement testing procedures for RHEL and Windows systems.
• Assist in installation of computer systems onboard submarines.
• Perform cybersecurity scans.
• Travel requirement for this position is 30%.
