Actalent in Middletown, RI seeks an Electrical Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine systems with hands-on hardware focus, circuit card assemblies, embedded electronics, radar, and electronic warfare systems.

The role targets an early-career engineer who thrives in a lab setting, diagnosing hardware, and solving complex problems across design, testing, and field support with occasional travel to Navy installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in circuits, electronics, and hardware design.
• Experience with circuit card assemblies and embedded hardware.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies and embedded electronics for radar, imaging, and EW systems.
• Develop/update electrical drawings and schematics for design and troubleshooting.
• Create and execute detailed test plans to validate hardware performance.
• Support fielded Navy systems with on-site diagnostics and modernization recommendations.
• Analyze system performance using MATLAB-based tools for sensor processing.
