Job summary

Arcfield in Middletown, Rhode Island, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support RF performance, testing, troubleshooting and sustainment of sensor hardware and related systems. The role combines analytical work with hands-on lab, production, and waterfront support.

You will analyze RF components, assist production, and perform bench-level and platform testing across lab, shipyard, and waterfront locations, using FieldFox, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and MATLAB for data evaluation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with RF/microwave engineering and network analysis.
• Proficiency with common test instruments and data interpretation.
• Ability to analyze technical data and manage priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical and RF performance data at part, subassembly, and assembly levels.
• Evaluate components and vendor test data; make recommendations.
• Support production with assembly concerns and repairs.
• Perform bench-level and platform testing of sensor products.
• Use RF test equipment such as FieldFox, network and spectrum analyzers.
• Create and maintain antenna gain-calibration files and data repos.
• Review specifications and engineering drawings; participate in peer reviews.
• Evaluate fielded sensors for RF compliance and document issues.
• Coordinate evaluation and repair of production material.
• Design RF, fiber-optic, and copper cable assemblies per military specs.
• Use MATLAB or similar tools to analyze data.
• Communicate findings to engineering, production, and customers.
