Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks engineers to support the development, installation and deployment of Ship Control Systems for U.S. Navy submarines across multiple classes.

You will work on real-time embedded software that drives the submarine's critical functions, with DoD security clearances as a baseline requirement. You will collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Test teams to validate designs, perform modeling and simulations, and contribute to certification activities that sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Physics
• 0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the DoD

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Ship Control Systems for U.S. Navy submarines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components
• Support system testing, qualification, and certification activities
