Job summary

Arcfield in Middletown, Rhode Island is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support RF performance, production, testing and sustainment of sensor hardware and related systems. The role blends data analysis with hands-on laboratory and field work in shipyard and waterfront settings.

You will work with RF components, antennas and cables, review test data, troubleshoot hardware, and perform bench-level and installed-system testing using lab equipment and MATLAB for data processing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 0–3 years of experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of RF/microwave engineering and network analysis.
• Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Ability to analyze data, follow procedures and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical and RF performance data at part and assembly levels.
• Evaluate incoming RF components and test data, identify non-conformances, and advise on acceptance or rejection.
• Support production with assembly concerns and troubleshooting.
• Conduct bench-level and platform testing of sensor products at lab and waterfront locations.
• Use RF test equipment such as FieldFox, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
• Review specifications and drawings, and document deficiencies or concerns.
• Communicate findings to engineering teams and customers.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
