Job summary

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Network Onsite Representative to support submarine networks and provide administrative oversight for the organization's systems at client sites in Groton, CT.

The role requires hands-on SUBLAN/CANES experience, seven years in related systems, and the ability to obtain IAT III certification and a Secret clearance; the company offers comprehensive benefits and a clear path to DoD IA compliance.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of full-time, hands-on experience in SUBLAN/CANES and related systems aboard US Naval Submarines or equivalent civilian experience.
• Seven (7) years of full-time experience operating or maintaining computer-controlled equipment for tests, simulations or real-time operations on Naval ships/submarines.
• Ability to obtain IAT III certification at time of hire and comply with DoD IA workforce requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboard and TYCOM administration support and training for Submarine Networks.
• Support Submarine Networks and laptops/workstations for non-Submarine Networks clients.
• Mentor fleet LAN administrators in maintenance and administration procedures (backups, switch configs, software setups).
• Conduct periodic assessments of submarine crew LAN administration capabilities.
• Establish and provide ongoing periodic training to submarine crews.
