Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. seeks a seasoned submarine network administrator to provide onboard support, training, and monitoring of Submarine Networks for US Navy submarines.

You will mentor fleet LAN admins and conduct periodic assessments to ensure readiness across Submarine Networks environments. Required are 3 years in SUBLAN/CANES/NTCSS NOSIS, 7 years in related computer-controlled systems, and the ability to obtain IAT III by 2025 with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of hands-on experience in install, test, and/or maintenance of SUBLAN/CANES, NTCSS, NOSIS and advanced IT equipment on US Navy submarines or equivalent civilian work experience.
  • Seven (7) years of full-time experience operating/maintaining computer-controlled equipment for tests, simulations, or real-time ops aboard submarines.
  • Ability to obtain IAT III certification by February 2025 and comply with DoD IA workforce requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onboard and TYCOM administration support, guidance, system onboard training, and monitoring of Submarine Networks at the local ISIC/Submarine Squadrons.
  • Support Submarine Networks including limited non-Submarine Networks client support and non-Submarine Networks laptops/workstations.
  • Mentor fleet LAN administrators in Submarine Networks maintenance and administration procedures.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of submarine crew’s LAN administration capabilities.
  • Establish and provide ongoing periodic training to submarine crews.
