Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Connecticut seeks an Internal Structures Engineer I/II in Stonington to contribute to the COLUMBIA Class submarine program. You will design, analyze and disclose internal structures such as decks, bulkheads and penetrations, employing FEA and hand calculations within cross‑functional teams.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering by June 2027 and be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

• Collaborate with designers, system engineers and stakeholders to meet requirements and schedules.
