Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks an experienced analyst to lead a long-term study assessing the vulnerabilities of U.S. submarines during surfaced operations and to develop technical countermeasures.

The role requires at least 10 years’ experience with unmanned systems, a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, and the ability to work onsite up to five days a week with Navy and IC partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; Master’s degree is highly desirable.
• At least 10 years of professional experience with unmanned systems or counter-unmanned systems.
• Strong skills in the design and conduct of technical studies and assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to summarize analytical findings.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI and ability to maintain it.
• Ability to work onsite up to 5 days per week, depending upon client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a long-term analysis under Navy Staff Undersea Warfare Directorate to assess vulnerabilities of submarines during surfaced operations and develop countermeasures.
• Collaborate with the Navy Staff, Intelligence Community, combatant commands, and acquisition communities to develop study plans and coordinate data collection, modeling, simulation, and testing.
• Develop and direct data collection, modeling and simulation, and real-world testing and evaluation.
