Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an experienced engineer or technical program analyst to support the Director Submarine Programs within ASIG.

The role involves technical research, mitigation planning, technical writing, and briefing senior leaders on program progress from Washington Navy Yard. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years in engineering or program analysis, Navy experience, and strong communication skills; security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or a related field.
• 5+ years in engineering or technical program analysis experience.
• Experience working with the Navy, either operationally or as part of a staff.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Proficient in using SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, to analyze and represent data and communicate to decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct program management support to DSP and lead SPA team supporting the new organization.
• Engage in technical research, development of mitigation plans, technical writing, and action officer efforts.
• Brief senior leaders on program progress with executive-ready briefs.
• Travel to vendor sites for meetings and reviews is possible.
