Job summary

Serco invites applications for a Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technician role in Portsmouth, NH. You will join a team supporting life cycle maintenance, modernization, and modification of Naval ships and SUBMEPP programs, collaborating with Administration, Program Management, Engineering, and Logistics.

You will perform maintenance planning, reliability analysis, and technical research to meet customer requirements and ensure safety and readiness of critical naval systems.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to maintain it during employment.
  • US Citizenship.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 4 years experience with shipboard electrical maintenance or related work.
  • Nuclear qualified in an electrical field E/RC Division.
  • Experience with Navy Preventative Maintenance System or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn new electrical, mechanical, and quality systems.
  • Work packages under a quality management system.
  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret technical docs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Create planned maintenance technical documentation (MRCs, Technical Feedback Reports, Maintenance Standards, Drawings).
  • Perform reliability-centered maintenance analysis.
  • Conduct technical research to support customer requirements.
