Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) AN/BLQ-10 Engineering Technician for a full-time on-site role in Groton, CT. The specialist will provide installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair per DoD and Navy procedures, communicating with clients and team members on site.

Travel up to 10% is anticipated. The candidate must have DoD Secret clearance, relevant technical training, and at least five years of related experience in operational hardware/software.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret level clearance required.
• Vocational/technical training beyond high school with at least 5 years related experience.
• Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at client sites.
• Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BLQ-10 systems.
• Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the BLQ-10 system.
• Develop technical data for PMS, manuals, troubleshooting procedures, and maintainability improvements.
• Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI).
• Train others in operation and performance of the system(s).
• Direct on-site customer interface for installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks.
• Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, plans, specifications and test procedures.

We are looking for a talented “Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) AN/BLQ-10 Engineering Technician”. This is a full-time position working out of Groton, CT.

The Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician will provide onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ISIS in accordance with DoD and U.S. Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instructions.

Pay Range: $50,814.40 to $77,001.60, depending on experience and credentials.

Travel: up to 10%

You Will

• Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites
• Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BLQ-10 systems

• Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements

• Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
• Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures

You Have

• U.S. Citizenship
• Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
• Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.

Education/Experience

• HS Diploma
• Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent
