Job summary

Une entreprise leader dans le soutien technique de la marine recherche un technicien en systèmes électroniques de combat pour rejoindre son équipe à Groton, CT. Le candidat retenu contribuera à maintenir l'excellence opérationnelle de la flotte de sous-marins de la marine américaine, en réalisant principalement des réparations et entretiens sur des dispositifs électroniques équipés à bord.

Qualifications

• Cinq (5) ans d'expérience en électronique requises.
• Doit pouvoir obtenir et maintenir un clearance de sécurité secret.
• Expérience en opération de combat électronique de sous-marins est préféree.

Responsibilities

• Remplacement/réparation de sonars et connecteurs de pénétration de coque externe sur sous-marins.
• Possibilité de déplacements limités à l'intérieur et à l'étranger.

Job description

Amentum is seeking a Submarine Combat Systems Electronics Technician to join our Submarine Technical Support Center (STSC) team in Groton, CT. The successful candidate will work with a team of highly dedicated and experienced former service personnel in maintaining the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Force Warfighting Capability.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. The replacement/repair of SONAR hydrophones and External Hull Penetration connectors on board in-service submarines.
2. Overtime may be required on occasion.
3. Limited travel, both domestic and foreign, may be required.
4. Vocational/Technical training beyond high school.
5. Five (5) years of electronics experience.
6. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. US citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
7. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to U.S. Naval Installations, specifically U.S. Naval Submarine Base New London.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of submarine combat systems electronics operation and/or troubleshooting experience, including sea and shore duty.
2. Five (5) years of electronics experience onboard submarines.
3. Three (3) years of electronic repair and maintenance experience.
