Amentum is seeking a Submarine Combat Systems Electronics Technician to join our Submarine Technical Support Center (STSC) in Groton, CT. The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced former service personnel to maintain the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Force Warfighting Capability.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. The replacement/repair of SONAR hydrophones and External Hull Penetration connectors on in-service submarines.
2. Overtime may be required occasionally.
3. Limited travel, including foreign travel, may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vocational/Technical training beyond high school.
• Five (5) years of electronics experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance; US citizenship required.
• Ability to access U.S. Naval Installations, specifically U.S. Naval Submarine Base New London.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of submarine combat systems electronics operation and troubleshooting experience (sea/shore duty).
• Five (5) years of electronics experience onboard submarines.
• Three (3) years of electronic repair and maintenance experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Rate: $31 - $40 (set by SCA).
