Submarine Combat System Support Engineer

Key Role:

Serve as a senior-level Program Manager or PM Analyst. Possess experience, passion, and purpose to provide acquisition program management support to a Naval submarine program. Provide direct support to the Chief Engineer for agile software development support and serve as the Risk Manager and BYG-1 Integrated Master Plan (IMP) Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering or science management, operations research analysis, or financial cost analysis

  • 8+ years of experience with Navy acquisition or In-Service Programs

  • Experience with Navy or DoD acquisition programs

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Cybersecurity field

Additional Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Navy acquisition or In-Service Programs

  • 5+ years of experience working with Navy Finance and Contracting and the Navy Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process

  • Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end-item customer

  • Experience with U.S. Navy submarines or Navy combat systems

  • Experience with Agile software development

  • Experience with Microsoft Project

  • Master’s degree in an Engineering or Cybersecurity field

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
