Job summary

Xtreme Solutions, Inc. (XSI) seeks a Subject Matter Expert (ISO) to lead quality and documentation standards on a federal headquarters program in Washington, DC. The role requires deep ISO expertise, Lean Six Sigma skills, and the ability to manage complex QMS documentation and audits.

The expert will guide ISO 9001 implementations, drive CAPA, and train staff while coordinating with government stakeholders and program leadership to maintain compliant, high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualifications in quality management or related field are preferred.
• Master's degree or 16 years of equivalent experience required/accepted.
• Active ISO credential (Lead Auditor) or ASQ CQA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead program documentation to ISO 9001 and other international standards.
• Develop, maintain and control QMS documentation (quality manual, SOPs, work instructions, records).
• Identify, analyze and solve quality problems using root cause analysis and Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits; prepare for certification and surveillance audits.
• Manage CAPA through to verified closure and define quality metrics.
• Train program staff on quality procedures and documentation standards.

Xtreme Solutions, Inc. (XSI) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (ISO) to lead quality and documentation standards on a federal headquarters program in Washington, DC. This senior expert leads program documentation to ISO and other international standards, and identifies, analyzes and solves problems that affect the quality of services. The role requires demonstrated ISO expertise and Lean Six Sigma skills, and it is a named Key Personnel position on the contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead the program's documentation to ISO 9001 and other international documentation standards.
• Develop, maintain and control quality management system (QMS) documentation, including the quality manual, SOPs, work instructions and records.
• Identify, analyze and solve problems that affect the quality of services, using root cause analysis and Lean Six Sigma methods.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits, and prepare the program for certification and surveillance audits.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to verified closure.
• Define quality metrics and report trends and recommendations to program leadership and government stakeholders.
• Train program staff on quality procedures and documentation standards.

Requirements

Required qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in quality management.
• Master's degree in a related field, or 16 years of equivalent experience in place of the degree.
• A current ISO credential, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (Exemplar Global or IRCA/CQI) or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA). Completion of a training course alone does not meet this requirement.
• Six Sigma (Lean) certification, Green Belt or higher.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Ability to work on site in Washington DC when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading an organization through ISO 9001 certification or registration.
• Experience applying a QMS to service, administrative or government operations, not only manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
• Experience supporting the Department of State or another federal civilian agency.
