Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in contract formation and contract management for construction subcontracting.
• Ability to develop subcontract pricing and determine price reasonableness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares bidders’ lists and pre-qualifies bidders.
• Forms bid request packages (RFQ/RFPs) and issues to approved bidders.
• Coordinates bidders’ questions and the team’s answers.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Summary/Tabulation.
• Conforms subcontract terms and conditions with the relevant scope of work.
• Collaborates with project stakeholders in developing bid requests.
• Manages routine to moderately complex commercial and technical work streams.
• Escalates unusual issues to senior personnel for guidance.
• Negotiates subcontracts and secures award approvals.
