Pike Construction is seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven Subcontract Coordinator to support our Estimating team. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining strong partnerships with subcontractors and vendors while ensuring a smooth and effective bid solicitation process.
The Subcontract Coordinator helps drive competitive bidding, supports outreach initiatives, maintains critical subcontractor data, and collaborates across departments to ensure project success.
Solicit subcontractors and vendors for bids and budget pricing.
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key subcontractor partners.
Manage and maintain subcontractor data within construction software systems.
Administer solicitation software platforms and user access.
Monitor bid communications and respond appropriately.
Generate and distribute weekly bid activity reports.
Support Operations and Purchasing teams with trade- and location-specific subcontractor lists.
Identify and solicit XBE subcontractors and support Good Faith Efforts initiatives.
Assist with subcontractor outreach events for bidding and construction management projects.
Support subcontractor prequalification processes in CMIC.
Participate in training and uphold company policies and standards.
Education & Experience
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to read schedules, drawings, and specifications.
Understanding of construction standards, practices, and technology (preferred).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel and accommodate a flexible schedule as needed.

The base salary range for this in-office position based out of Rochester, NY is $45,000 - $65,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
