Job summary

What You Will Do
  • Prepare subcontracts and support documentation in accordance with departmental policies and FAR/DFAR/ITAR regulations.
  • Handle international procurements and suppliers, submitting compliant RFQ’s/RFPs to obtain pricing.
  • Perform cost and price analysis and assist with technical assessments of supplier proposals.
  • Monitor supplier delivery commitments and work with suppliers to ensure contract delivery dates are met.
  • Administer subcontracts for all program phases, including business development, capture strategy, pre‑solicitation, proposal, award, post‑award, and closeout.
  • Negotiate, document, place, and administer complex and high‑value products under various contract types.
  • Support major business proposal initiatives by requesting, analyzing, evaluating supplier proposals/quotations, and negotiating fair and reasonable prices.
  • Ensure compliance with program and FAR requirements and subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement events and assist team members with day‑to‑day activities.
  • Build and maintain constructive, professional relationships with customers and suppliers and participate in program and subcontract supplier reviews.
  • Manage complex high‑value subcontracts from supplier selection to RFP/RFQ submission, proposal/quote receipt, analysis, negotiation, PO documentation, and monitoring of supplier issues and delivery.
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully manage long‑term, complex supplier relationships.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and three years of relevant experience.

  • U.S. person status or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations.

  • Strong collaboration skills with internal customers (PM, Engineering, Quality, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Word.

  • Ability to self‑manage.
  • Strong work ethic and multi‑tasking capability.
Travel
  • International travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
  • Domestic travel may be required up to 15% of the time.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD. The range represents a good‑faith estimate for all experience levels.

Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Benefits are dependent on the specific business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
