Job summary

Raytheon seeks an experienced contracts professional to manage government contracts, working with directors, program managers, chief engineers, and supply chain teams to ensure successful execution of complex programs in a fast-paced environment.

Requires 8+ years in contracts/subcontracts and deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, with a record of cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, and risk mitigation. Onsite role in the United States with a sign-on bonus and active security clearance required.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • 5 years experience specifically with contracts and/or subcontracts
  • Experience with US Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts
  • Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual / program risks
  • Perform as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start up phases of programs
  • Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA)
  • Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Support program management and execution reviews
  • Work independently in a fast-paced / multitask environment
  • Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams

What You Will Do

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
