Job summary

Lockheed Martin invites students to join the Supply Chain management team for a paid summer internship in Orlando. You will help develop subcontract specifications and terms for procurement of materials and services across development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types.

Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, and coordinating subcontracts with contracts administration to support supplier relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership and involvement in activities.
• Related work experience (co-op, internship or full-time).
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Proficient with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

An opportunity awaits you with Lockheed Martin on the Supply Chain management team. The selected individual will:

Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in in Supply Chain, Management, Technical Related Degree, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and involvement
• Related work experience (co-op, internship or full time employment)
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Proficient MS Office proficiency skills; Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
