Kiddie Academy of Lone Tree is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide flexible classroom support for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Candidates must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience with children, complete PDIS trainings, and possess CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Responsibilities include ensuring children's safety, supporting daily routines, and maintaining a nurturing environment. The position requires flexibility and reliable transportation between Kiddie Academy of Parker and Lone Tree, with various responsibilities in multiple classrooms.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must complete PDIS trainings.
• 2+ years of verifiable experience with children.
• Flexible availability and reliable transportation between both locations.
• Experience with multiple age groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed (infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K).
• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children.
• Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, and activities.
• Follow lesson plans or assist with age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, and team dynamics.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with staff and leadership at both locations.
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment.

Position: Substitute Teacher (Infant–Pre-K) Locations: Kiddie Academy of Parker & Kiddie Academy of Lone Tree Reports To: Academy Director / Assistant Director

Summary

The Substitute Teacher provides flexible classroom support across both Kiddie Academy of Parker and Lone Tree locations. This role assists in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, while ensuring compliance with Colorado Office of Early Childhood (OEC) licensing regulations.

Key Responsibilities
