Job summary

University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking a Subaward Coordinator to administer and monitor subawards for sponsored programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of grants management experience.
• Experience in project management or the non-profit sector involving federal/state/private funding.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and sponsor requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full lifecycle of subawards from setup through closeout.
• Review subaward documentation for completeness and compliance with sponsor requirements.
• Prepare and process subaward agreements, amendments, and budget revisions.
• Collaborate with PIs, departmental staff, and university offices to ensure timely subaward administration.
• Communicate with subrecipient organizations on agreements, invoicing, and reporting requirements.
• Conduct subrecipient risk assessments and determine monitoring needs.
• Monitor subrecipient compliance including reporting, audits, and insurance.
• Review subrecipient invoices for accuracy and alignment with budgets.
• Track deliverables, financial reports, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive subaward files and tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and sponsor requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and monitoring records.
• Participate in policy development and process improvement of subaward administration.
• Complete training mandated by ORAC and university.
