Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in sponsored programs administration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations governing sponsored programs and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, implement, and monitor regulatory and institutional compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive post-award administration and support to faculty, PIs, department admins, and others.
  • Review sponsored award terms and conditions and negotiate or modify to ensure compliance.
  • Manage post-award activities across the lifecycle including setup, budgeting, reporting, and closeout.
  • Review, process, and coordinate no-cost extensions, budget revisions, and other modifications.
  • Serve as liaison with Federal and non-Federal sponsors and funding agencies.
  • Advise PIs and personnel regarding allowable costs, budgeting, and sponsor restrictions.
  • Monitor award budgets, project periods, reporting requirements, and compliance deadlines.
