Tom Wood Subaru in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Subaru Technician to join our high-volume service team. You will diagnose and repair Subaru mechanical and electrical systems, perform inspections, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards, while documenting work thoroughly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Subaru technician or strong import dealership experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; experience with Subaru Select Monitor (SSM) preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus (we'll help you maintain them).
• Commitment to quality workmanship and fixing vehicles right the first time.
• Team-oriented attitude with excellent work ethic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Diagnose and repair Subaru mechanical and electrical systems
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining manufacturer standards
• Perform routine maintenance and major engine repairs
• Maintain accurate repair documentation
• Communicate repair recommendations with service advisors
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Stay current on Subaru technology, diagnostics, and repair procedures
