Job summary

Hodges Subaru is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician in Michigan to perform vehicle repairs and diagnostics with efficiency while upholding dealership standards. You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose systems, and complete fixes for engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.

We value ASE and Michigan certifications, strong teamwork, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications ideal

• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
• Must have clean & valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and a/c
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
