Puma Staffing is seeking a skilled Machine Welder for a heavy industrial fabrication environment. You will perform Sub Arc and Flux-Cored welding on large metal parts, reading blueprints and ASME codes to ensure precise fits and high-quality welds.

Responsibilities include radiographic/testing readiness, operating heavy lifting equipment, and maintaining a safe, compliant workspace in alignment with HSE policies.

Qualificações

• Proven hands-on SAW and FCAW welding in heavy industrial/fabrication environments.
• Strong knowledge of ASME codes and structural blueprints.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting specifications for precise fit-ups.
• Ability to operate heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Sub Arc welding on heavy metal forms using precise stringer pass techniques.
• Read engineering blueprints and ASME codes to ensure accurate material dimensions.
• Maintain high weld quality through visual, dimensional, and radiographic evaluation.
• Operate lift trucks up to 40,000 lbs, overhead cranes, and common hand tools safely.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in a heavy fabrication setting.
