Job summary

PACS is seeking a registered nurse nurse leader in San Diego to coordinate nursing services in a long-term care facility. You will support the Director of Nursing, help develop policies, ensure adherence to the Nursing Service Manual, and participate in quality assurance activities to improve resident care.

Responsibilities include staffing oversight, discharge planning coordination, and collaboration with multiple committees to maintain quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and an active RN license in the state.
• Current CPR certification and PCC experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Nursing in directing nursing activities in the facility.
• Develop and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Manual.
• Participate in QA program and facility surveys.
• Review discharge plans and coordinate with Care Plan Committee.
• Monitor staffing and ensure adequate coverage for shifts.
