PACS Group in California is recruiting an Administrative Nursing Leader to oversee the day-to-day nursing functions in our long-term care facility. You will guide staff, coordinate with physicians and residents, and ensure care quality while complying with rules and guidelines.

The role emphasizes developing and updating Nursing Service procedures, leading committee activities, and participating in quality assurance and discharge planning to support resident well-being and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Develop and update policies and procedures governing the day-to-day nursing service operations.
• Ensure reference materials at nursing stations are current and compliant with regulations.
• Recommend materials to meet residents' daily care needs and ensure the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current.
• Make reports and recommendations to the Director regarding nursing service operations.
• Participate in QA programs, facility surveys, and discharge plan updates.
• Plan and coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Meet with nursing staff to plan services, programs, and activities; admit/transfer/discharge residents as needed.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies, manage staffing, and monitor incidents and safety practices.
