Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a substitute custodian to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe school environment. The role covers cleaning classrooms, hallways, and entrances and restocking supplies to ensure daily needs are met.

Position is substitute and requires the worker to operate under the Head Custodian. Applicants must be at least 14, enrolled in grades 9–12, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Working Conditions

Works in the school under the direct supervision of the Head Custodian.

Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, stooping and kneeling, is required. Will operate job-related equipment.

Selection Procedure

Applications will be used for openings in area schools throughout the school year.

Contract

2 hours a day, 5 days a week, when school is in session (when needed)
