Job summary

Doncasters in Oxford, AL, is hiring a Production Control Sub-Contract Supervisor to coordinate production schedules, priorities, capacity, and delivery dates with subcontract manufacturers. The role focuses on planning and managing all subcontract processes to support our aerospace-grade manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, advanced PC skills, and experience with Lean, Kaizen, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of production control computer systems
• Experience with world class manufacturing process, and methods, Lean, Kaizen, 6s, TMP (talent management program), and other advance manufacturing methodologies, tools and concepts
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, planning, scheduling, customer service, and ERP systems
• Experience at leading production personnel staffing, reviews and goal settings

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, priorities, administrative tasks & logistics to support overall business needs from sub-contract vendors.
• Responsible for managing all subcontract processes.
