Job summary

Doncasters is seeking an organized Subcontract Clerk to join the Castings Team in Oxford, Alabama. You will handle subcontract purchasing, shipping and receiving, update job routers, and track KPIs while ensuring accurate documentation and timely shipments.

Strong attention to detail, proficient data entry, and the ability to communicate with external vendors and internal teams are essential. A can-do attitude in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong computer skills and ability to perform accurate data entry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with outside vendors and internal teams.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Experience with shipping and receiving intercompany materials.
• Experience with customer and vendor communication.
• Knowledge or experience with logistics tracking.
• Ability to create and manage purchase orders.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Ability to track material quantities and shipment status.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Creating subcontract purchase orders, updating job routers, verifying incoming materials, packing and shipping subcontract materials, maintaining KPI boards, and tracking inbound and outbound shipments.
• Communicate shipment quantities and status updates while ensuring quantity and documentation accuracy.
