Job summary

Novolex in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Sub Assembly Technician for Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, climate controlled. You will assemble small mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical sub-assemblies and prepare kits for shipment, reading blueprints and bills of material. Required: High School Diploma or GED; 2-year A.A.S.

in CNC Machining Technology or 3–5 years CNC machining experience. Preferred: National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A.A.S. in CNC Machining Technology or 3–5 years CNC machining experience.
• WorkKeys Certification: Silver preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical sub-assemblies.
• Prepare/bag/label kits of components to ship to customer sites.
• Must be able to read blueprints and bills of material.
