Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a Sub Assembly Assembler to build and wire power distribution and control panels at our Orlando facility.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years hands-on assembly experience in aerospace/defense/industrial or automotive sectors, proficiency with crimping, soldering and torque tools, and knowledge of 6S/Kaizen for continuous improvement. A high school diploma is required; IPC 610/OSHA 10 are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on assembly experience in aerospace, defense, industrial or automotive sectors.
• Proficient with crimping, soldering and torque tools.
• Basic continuous improvement methods (6S/Kaizen)
• High school diploma; IPC 610/OSHA 10 a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and wire subassemblies such as power distribution units and control panels.
• Read blueprints, schematics and BOMs to guide assembly.
• Install LEDs, push buttons, switches, handles and fasteners.
• Route, dress, strip and crimp wires; inspect functionality and workmanship.
• Document results in work orders within the MRP system.
